Now that I use this product, I can see why such methodology left me with horrible nails compared to what I have now from using this product. My nails now become shorter when I want them to, by trimming, rather than from having to peel a cracked edge before it catches on and damages my clothes. Since using this product I haven't had a single split nail on my hands or feet.
It goes on just like regular polish, only a bit thicker, drying completely in about a minute. I love the matte finish, which allows me a natural-looking style when I feel like it. I use matte finish nail color (also Opi)when I do color, and recommend this nail strengthener when using matte finish colors to prevent chipping.
Personally, I only apply this product every couple of days and it works just fine for me. I was concerned such product would make my nails hard, but they are just as soft and flexible as before it seems to me anyway. Its a must-have item, especially during open-toes sandals season.
